The habits you struggle to change aren’t personal failures

— they’re your nervous system trying to protect you.
They’re your nervous system trying to protect you.
You’ve simply been surviving.

When your biology carries too much, for too long, the nervous system switches into protection mode — no amount of willpower can override that.
Here, you’ll learn a kinder, safer, more effective way:

Healing with your body, not against it.

Many high-performing women live in quiet survival mode without even realizing it.

Does any of this feel familiar?
  • You function well on the outside but feel overwhelmed inside
  • You start routines, but your body “shuts down”

  • You want consistency, but your biology resists

  • You recover slowly after stress

  • You feel guilt, shame, or frustration about “not doing enough”

  • You’ve outgrown crisis mode but still don’t feel regulated

  • You want to understand your inner state, instead of fighting it
If this feels like you…
Your nervous system is not failing you — it is protecting you.

Creator of the NeuroBioSafety Method™

I’m a Medical Doctor with over 25 years of professional experience.
I help mostly women to understand and regulate their hidden biological and nervous-system patterns behind overwhelm, emotional eating, addiction, burn-out and shutdown states.
So they feel at home in their own bodies.
And, also after a 15-year personal health crisis, I learned something life-changing:
Healing does not happen through willpower.
Healing happens through safety.
Solange Freyd, M.D., fondatrice de la méthode NeuroBioSafety

My Philosophy

The five simple keys, but still powerful :
Your body sets the pace
Biology and nervous system must work together
Healing must be gentle
Small steps create the deepest transformation
Safety — not pressure — creates change

  • NeuroFeelSafe™ — The 10 C Somatic Exercises™
  • NeuroPartsSafe™
  • The 6 Pains of Neurodevelopment™
All four pathways work together — gently and scientifically.
Step 1 — Understand Your Survival Pattern™
Before you change anything, you discover how your body protects you the way it does. You learn your primary survival imprint, your trigger cycle, and your safety signals. This creates instant self-compassion and lowers internal resistance.

This step stabilizes your roadmap.

Step 2 — Support Your Biology (Not Fight It)
You begin by regulating the systems that create mood, energy, and safety:

  • neurotransmitters
  • blood sugar
  • inflammation patterns
  • mineral and nutrient balance
  • circadian & cycle rhythms

This reduces overwhelm, cravings, reactivity, and burnout — naturally, without force.

→ This step restores your baseline.

Step 3 — Rewire the Behavior Loop
Together, the biology and nervous system create the habit loop.
When both are supported, we can gently update the patterns that were once protective:

  • the shutdown cycle
  • the stress-spike loop
  • the relapse window
  • the overwork → overwhelm → crash pattern
  • emotional activation pathways

→ This step reshapes your patterns from within.

Step 4 — Rebuild Identity Through Safety
As your biology shifts, your identity shifts with it.
You begin to feel:

  • “I can trust myself.”
  • “My body is not against me.”
  • “I can do less and still progress.”
  • “I don’t need to fight to be consistent.”

This creates sustainable change without force, shame, or intensity.

→ This step builds long-term transformation.

The result?
A body that feels safe.
A brain that feels clear.
A life that feels like it finally matches who you really are.

Who is this for?

This is for you, if everything feels like too much, too intense,
You’re a high-performing woman carrying years of invisible survival mode.
You feel inconsistent — not because you lack discipline, but because your nervous system is overwhelmed.
You’ve tried “mindset,” “motivation,” or “fix your habits” tools — but they miss the biology underneath.
You want to heal without shame, force, or pushing through.
You sense your body is trying to protect you — and you want to understand how.
You’re ready for clarity, safety and ready to feel like yourself again.

This is not for you if… (no shame, just clarity)

You want fast fixes instead of nervous-system-safe change.
You prefer high-pressure, high-intensity transformation models.
You are looking for medical advice or treatment (this is educational only).

Why Understanding Your Nervous
System Changes Everything

Why Your Nervous System Holds the Missing Piece

Your neurobiology is doing exactly what it was designed to do:

To protect you.

When your nervous system lives in survival mode, your body prioritizes safety over progress — every single time.

Not because you’re broken.

But because your neurobiology uses old patterns.

When you understand your nervous system, everything changes:

  • food stops being punishment and becomes regulation
  • stress becomes readable instead of chaotic
  • emotions feel manageable instead of explosive
  • relapse patterns become predictable instead of mysterious
  • your body stops fighting you and starts supporting you
This is biology literacy — learning how your system works so you can finally work with it, not against it

The safest way to begin is by understanding your survival pattern.

Programs Overview

This work is designed for professional women over 35 who are looking for depth, clarity,
and sustainable change — without pressure, urgency, or self-optimization culture.

Rather than offering a fixed catalogue of products, I work through carefully designed learning experiences that respect nervous system capacity, real life constraints, and long-term integration.

At this stage, programs are opened selectively and intentionally.

This approach allows depth, safety, alignment, and real meaningful integration over time.

How the Programs Work

Programs are built around a coherent framework already
presented above.

Depending on the moment, they may take different forms, such as :

  • structured learning experiences
  • guided thematic programs
  • integration-focused journeys
Not all programs are open at the same time, and some are shared only through early access.

Each offering is intentional and limited, rather than continuous or volume-based.

Common questions

I tell myself I won't do it again, and I do it anyway. Why?
Because willpower does not control that behavior. When your nervous system carries too much load, it seeks quick relief, and the behavior returns despite your best intentions. It is not a character flaw: it is a regulation pattern. The way out is not more pressure on yourself, but understanding what the behavior does for you, and meeting that need differently.
I sleep long hours and wake up exhausted, struggling to get out of bed. Why?
Long sleep does not guarantee restorative sleep. When the nervous system stays in protective mode, the body sleeps without truly recovering. Waking up tired is information about your inner state, not laziness to fix. We start by understanding what keeps your body from feeling safe, even at night.
If I had more information, I would finally manage with a bit of willpower. Is that true?
No. You already have the information: you know what you should do. The problem is never a lack of information; it lies in regulation. A body in survival mode cannot follow a plan, however good. Adding willpower to exhaustion only adds guilt to the fatigue.
I hold it together all day, then I collapse in the evening. Why?
Holding it together all day takes enormous inner tension. In the evening, when outside pressure eases, the nervous system finally asks for what it has been missing: that is often when compulsions show up. The evening collapse is not a lack of discipline; it is the mechanical consequence of a day spent holding on.
Why don't diets work for me?
Because a diet acts on the plate, while the problem often lies elsewhere: the load on your nervous system, stress, unexpressed emotions, the need for comfort. As long as the underlying pattern stays in place, the plate alone is not enough. You did not fail; the approach was incomplete.
Is it a matter of willpower?
No. Willpower is a resource that runs out, especially when the body is exhausted. You do not wake up with less willpower than other women: you carry a load they do not. The real question is not “how do I force myself?” but “what makes control so costly for me?”.
What is survival mode?
It is the state your nervous system switches into when it carries too much load for too long: it shifts into protection. You function on the outside while feeling overwhelmed and exhausted on the inside, and nothing holds. It is not a malfunction: your biology is trying to protect you. Recognizing it is already the first step out.
Does this work if I am already seeing a therapist?
Yes, and that is a good context. The NeuroBioSafety method complements psychotherapy: it works on biological and nervous system regulation, an area talk therapy does not cover. The two approaches reinforce each other.
Sugar, alcohol, screens: is it all the same thing?
Behind different behaviors often lies the same pattern: a nervous system seeking safety and relief. Evening sugar, for example, is not just a food question: it is a crossing point between behavior, neurotransmitters and the stress of the day. We do not treat the symptom; we work on the pattern that produces it.
How do I know if this is for me?
If you recognize yourself in these sentences: “I am not moving forward”, “I tell myself I won’t do it again and I do it anyway”, “I hold it together all day and collapse in the evening”: yes. The 3-minute self-assessment gives you a first look at your survival mode, with no commitment.

Finding Your Starting Point

Because nervous system capacity varies from one person to another, there is no universal starting point.

To support a safe and appropriate entry, you can begin with the Nervous System Orientation Assessment.

This assessment helps you understand where you are today and which type of program may be most supportive — without rushing or forcing a decision.

Current & Upcoming Programs

Programs open periodically.

To see what is currently available, or to be informed when new programs open, you can explore the current offerings or join the early access list.

This work is educational and experiential.

It is intended for women who value discernment, pacing, respect, and nervous-system awareness.
